Good Night, Monkey Boy by Jarrett J. Krosoczka

About the Book

Who's that eating a banana? Swinging from the shower curtain? Making faces in the mirror? Why, it looks like a monkey!

But not to Mommy. Mommy knows it's her own monkey boy, and even monkey boys need their sleep. But first, they need to clean up their room and take a bath. Then she'll read a story. "Good night, Monkey Boy...and no more bananas!"

My Review:
Lovely Juvenile Fiction book about an adorable monkey being put to bed by his mother. Nice illustrations that help bring the story to life.  Decent early reader book, that utilizes vocabulary words that children ages 2-5 will be learning or know already. Gives ample opportunity for a child to read along with you.  Book is a little jumpy though from scene to scene which takes away from the story. My son also complained that only the mommy speaks during the story and never the monkey boy. He loved that the mommy would read the story though becuase "some wont.". Overally he gave it 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
