My Impressions:
This is the first Lauren Carr book I have read and this was a great book. Rarely do I get to read a really good mystery book that keeps you guessing all the way to the end like this one did. Every time you think you got everything figured out a new piece comes into play and your blown away.

I adored the life that Lauren brought to all her characters, including the ferocious  Gnarly. The book is chopped full of great humor that will have you laughing about the dog, relationships and life. This has the be the most zany and hilarious hostage situation that anyone could have imagined. It was fabulous. I could picture this happening in some small town where everyone knows everyone and takes no one serious.

The book is filled with action, mystery, humor, romance and good ol fashioned revenge.Whats not to love? This is one of those books you hold onto and read again.
