Ever Wonder About God?

Have you ever wondered about God? You’re not alone. Most everyone comes to a point in their life where they wonder about God —whether He exists, what He’s like, and what He wants from them.
These are important questions. And if you just watched the Life in 6 Words: The GOSPEL video, you’ve gotten a glimpse of what the Bible has to say about these questions. Here’s a brief summary of what you just heard on the video:

~My Impressions~

This is a simple, engaging way for teens to share the gospel with not only their friends, but anyone they interact with in day to day life in a non-threatening, non-confrontational way. Broken down into concepts that are easy to understand and deliver. The book reads almost like a magazine. I would compare the look and layout to the popular tech magazine Wired. It has that same multi-font size and styles,  inviting look, that is hip, colorful, bold and the use of random photos that link the topic.

The book works off the word GOSPEL (God, Our, Sins, Paying, Everyone, Life) to breakdown the gospel message in meaningful chunks that people can really relate to and personalize.  I loved the invitation at the end of the book. To me it either lets the person solidify their new relationship with Christ, or allows you to keep probing into other questions they might have concerning Christ. What I found that this book offers (if you leave the book with who you are sharing) is so often after you have shared the gospel and left the new believer or the one with questions, there is seldom follow-up by the person sharing the message. This leave the new believer confused, lost and right back where they started almost. Having the resources in this book, gives them  place to begin their new journey and a spot to get plugged in with other believers who can help guide them on their new walk. Sharing the gospel does not end when you accept Christ, but it keeps going.I would recommend that before you give this book to someone that you put your contact information on it. Even if the person you gave it to does not use it, you never know who God intended it for that will.

Although this book is aimed more for teens to use to share the gospel, it would be a excellent resource for adults to keep on them to use when they encounter teens or tech minded individuals.

~About the Author~
My name is Greg. I'm a husband, a father, a preacher, an author, a twitchy revolutionary and a fanatic for Jesus.

I love my wife, my kids, and my God (not in that order!)

Give me Starbuck's coffee, wi-fi, time at the park with my kids, a movie-dinner night with my wife and I'm a happy man.

What makes me mad? Lukewarm Christians, bad theology and passionless churches.
What makes me furious? Horrible Christian drivers with stupid Christian bumper stickers
What makes me happy? Jesus (the real Jesus that is), Java, arenas full of teenagers and vacations with the fam.
