My Impressions:

AS a homeschool mom and Sunday school teacher I am always on the lookout for fun and creative ways to helps children learn the word of god.  Since my son is a visual learner, cards have always been a great option and help with his recall of information. So I was anxious to get the preschool bible learning cards in my hands from words2remember4kids.

Arriving in an adorable package with a momma penguin and her babies on the cover, these cards immediately capture the interest of your child. When you open the package you get 20 glossy, sturdy cards that are 5x7 and a blue ring so you can make sure all your cards will stay together. The cards are separated out into topical color coding system that include 5 cards in each of the following categories: Learn, Love, Grow and Play. Most of the cards are based on the ESV Bible.

On the front of each card there is a topic such as Learn, a bible verse and a fantastic illustration. My son loved the photos. Before we would read the back we would look only at the picture and see if we could guess what the verse would be about by what the animals were doing. On the back of each card you find the full scripture verse, another photo and a chance to dig deeper into Gods word through application in your life.

Even those these cards are geared toward the 1-4 age range, they can work well with older elementary school children as well. My 8 year old stole these cards away every opportunity he got to look through them read and talk to the “babies” about. So they ended up being a wonderful ministry opportunity for my son to use when talking to other kids about god.

About the Author:
Vicky Enright: I have been a children's book illustrator and a Christian for many years. When a friend suggested the idea of creating Bible verse cards, I got inspired. Here was a chance to use my art to share the Good Word. God seemed to be saying "Go!" I was blessed to meet Kristen Smith, who has her Masters of Divinity from the respected Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. She jumped on board and helped me to select simple, timeless verses that speak to children and to parents. Between the two of us, we have five kids ranging from preschool to teenagers. As I created the first illustrations, I drew on my experiences parenting two very active boys. These words from God can be applied every day, in very helpful and comforting ways.

The feedback from customers is gratifying. Families are benefiting from the encouraging verses and uplifting images packed in every card set. Who couldn't use a little comfort and courage in their daily walk?
