Nowhere to Turn- (Hidden Identity #2)

Nowhere to Turn (SEPT 8th - 15th)

She thought her days of hiding were over . . . but the danger has just begun

The day Danielle Harding takes her eleven-year-old son and flees from her abusive husband is the same day Kurt Harding dies. A relieved Dani believes she and her son are finally safe--but in reality, things are just heating up. When Kurt was alive, he took something important from a mysterious individual--who wants the item back and believes Dani now has it. As she and her son run for their lives, they have nowhere to turn, until she hires Adam Buchanan of Operation Refuge and goes into hiding. Unfortunately, she won't be able to hide for long . . .

From the first breathless scene, this tension-laced story will hold you in its iron grip as bestselling author Lynette Eason propels you along in a race to discover the truth.

My Impressions:

This book was amazing. Once I picked it up I could not put it down. Full of mystery, intrigue, conspiracy, love, new beginning. It had the works. I really wished I had already read the first book in the series, but this was a great stand alone easily. Centered on Dani and her relationship with her abusive husband Kurt, Dani believes her son, Simon, days of living in fear are over when Kurt is killed. Sadly though it is just the beginning of their struggles and pain.

The only thing that really bothered me when reading this book was some bad editing. All the words that had the double "ff" were missing. So office comes out oice, suffer becomes suer (you get the point) and you just have to figure out what the author is saying. At first it did not bother me so bad, but then it just got annoying. Luckily the story was good enough that I was not tempted to just stop reading.

I adored the light spiritual thread that was weaved throughout the story. There are a couple of parts that come out a little more in your face, but overall it was light enough that a non believer would still easily love this book and strong enough that a believer will easily realize where Dani, Simon and Adam draw their strength and courage from. This fast paced, action packed book is easy to recommend.
