Scripture Verse: Ecclesiastes 5:18
Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot.

Favorite Things We Did- Easter Bunny pics at the mall and every where else you happened to see the bunny out and about this month. Celebrating my birthday and your brothers. You also LOVE taking Gizmo to school with us in the morning, but he insists in sitting in your lap. We also had a great time going camping at Yogi Bear Park this month in Wichita Falls. The North Texas Irish Festival was a blast as well. We all ate Perogi's for the first time and fell in love! Plus your Uncle Shane bought a Kilt to wear! Then we got SNOW. That's right, snow in Texas in March! What a great b-day it was.
What Things You Are Into: I am not sure the video game thing is going away anytime soon, but now you have made new friends. You met a boy that lives at the end of the road named, Matthew. He is 12, but since there are virtually no kids in the neighborhood he comes over to play with you. You guys play baseball, football, ride bike, play the game systems, hang out at McDonalds, watch movies and argue. So it's alot like when you are with your sister. :)
Things we enjoy doing together- Running the wipe out obstacle course together. Ok well we were going to run together and then was told you were too young. You had to be at least 16, which we all thought was ridiculous. We did stick around and watch the games and you met some friends to play with in a small section they had that included a soap filled pool which you thoroughly enjoyed. All in all I think we were both let down. We had our hopes up to DO the course and could not. We did enjoy the La bohème simulcast at Kylde Warren Park. It was really full and we had to park over 10 blocks away
What you want to be when you grow up: Pretty much the same as last month and the month before. You go between a professional sports player, or someone else that wears a cool uniform. Only thing new that has been added is now you also want to work with kids in AWANA when you get out of it. That will be awhile though!
New Sayings : "You know me mom, me yelling is my process" You are working in your feelings and identifying what you do when you get upset, so this is your new phrase that pays.
Struggles and Accomplishment: I am worried you may not get to 3rd grade. Although you are making progress, it has tampered off and you are getting increasingly frustrated with what you do not know. It's becoming harder for you to focus on your accomplishments as it becomes more clear to you that the other kids can read good, write good and get the math that you still struggle with. You come home alot of the times saying you are stupid, only see "scribble, scrabble, and write in scribble, scabble." Its a process that is very hard for both of us. You have increased your reading skills from a level 4 book to a level 10 book, which was significant. It was a basic 1/2 year increase in 2 months. You are making huge strides, just slowly.
Your Style: Does underwear count? You would prefer not to get dressed. You would love to spend the day in your underwear (normally on backwards), and when you do need to get dressed, you want no shoes, no socks and your boots if I insist. Life is never boring!
