Celebrate the real meaning of Easter with your kids. This special edition of Little Blessings books includes four books in one: Who is Jesus, Why is there a Cross, What about Heaven, and What is Prayer.

Each title is designed to help kids learn more about Jesus and his sacrifice for us. This volume includes a special note from author Kathleen Bostrom on how to help kids understand the meaning of Easter and the good news of Jesus’ resurrection.

Full-color art of the adorable characters draws kids in and makes them want to hear the stories over and over again. Scripture references support each answer to the questions so parents can study more.

Make Easter about Jesus this season.

Easter Stories and Prayers is a collection of 4 previously published books in one that include:

Why is There a Cross?
Who is Jesus?
What is Prayer?
What About Heaven?

Inside each story you will find scriptural references marked at the top of most pages to provide biblical support for the rhyming poem on that page. This is also a great tool to use with your younger kids to get them to open their bibles and dig into the Word of God. Each page is beautifully illustrated and captures the essences of the story.

When I first picked up the book I did not realize it was four books in one, but thought it was just one story. It was a pleasant surprise since I love multi-volume books, but still I would have appreciated a table of contents to let me know what was actually included and where each story was located.Which brings me to my 2nd nuance-page numbers.  Pages numbers would have been nice so I could easily flip back to the page I left off on, instead of searching through the stories and it would have made locating each story easier.   I am also concerned about the thinness of the pages and how durable they will be over time especially with little hands and how rough they can get when handling things.

The "Easter Story" in the traditional sense is not found within these pages like you might expect given the title.  Don't get me wrong the book tells the Easter story, just in broken bits scattered throughout. You get the birth of Jesus, His life, ministry and death, just within different stories that you might need to piece together for your young ones for them to get the full impact of what Christ did for us and why we celebrate Easter.

Overall I give this book 4 stars and can recommend it for kids ages 3-8. The great thing about this book is if you, as a parent, are not familiar with the Easter story or are a new believer in Christ, this book will help guide you to teach your children the true meaning of Easter and provide you with biblical support for your own growth as you do it.
